I’m pregnant with my first child and I want to find a creative way of telling my husband. We’ve been trying for a baby for two years with no luck, but I am officially twelve weeks pregnant and ready to let my husband know.
I’ve heard of women showing their partners videos of the ultrasound, or telling their partner through song. Which gave me an idea. Why don’t I combine the two to create the best pregnancy reveal of all time? Once I’ve shown my husband, we’ll be able to show the video to our friends and family to let them know about the pregnancy too. It’s the perfect idea.
Now that I know how I’m going to deliver the message, I need to find a video animation company to make the video. I’m planning to tell the production agency what I want, and then give them creative license to make it happen. I’d like it to be a surprise for me as well, so there’s a bit of pressure on them to get it right.
I really am over the moon. I want the first frame to be of an animated version of me and my husband sitting on a crescent moon, and then that moon animating into my arms cradling a newborn baby. After that, I’m happy for them to tell the story however they’d like.
I’m really glad that I’ve chosen video production. Melbourne is full of creative people, which means the video will be in good hands no matter who I choose. This video will define the rest of my child’s life, so it really needs to be perfect. I can’t wait to tell my husband that we’re going to add another member to our family. Our lives are going to change forever after this video.
